The State Exams Dutch as a Second Language (Nt2) are the national language proficiency exams for non-native adult ( 17>) speakers, who want to study or work in the Netherlands. The Diploma State Exams Nt2 is officially recognized by the government.

SBB
Samenwerkingsorganisatie Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven (SBB) is the center of expertise for vocational education in The Netherlands on the level of
- VMBO – preparatory vocational secondary education and training
- MBO – senior secondary vocational education and training
Nuffic
Nuffic is the Dutch organization for internationalisation in education. They are a service provider and intermediary for the education sector that aims for every student to gain international experience.
Nuffic compares foreign diplomas. There are different educational paths in the Netherlands, based on a students academic level and interest:
- VWO – pre-university secondary education
- HAVO – senior secondary general education
- HBO – higher professional education
- WO – university education
SBB and Nuffic are appointed by the ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the ministry of Social Affairs and Employment for international credential evaluation.
